Ubuntu for ARM
Canonical has announced the port of Ubuntu to the ARMv7 architecture. New Linux kernel capabilities will enable Ubuntu to be compiled wholly on this platform. Ubuntu is already offering Ubuntu for notebooks and embedded devices. It is also a clever move to establish market to ARM-based devices like Nokia's N810 Internet tablet. ARM is actively supporting the ARM linux development efforts.
