FSF Releases New Version of GNU Free Documentation License
GNU GFDL version 1.3 is released. GNU Free Documentation License is a popular license and co-part of GPL in licensing content and written materials in opensource way. This version is compatible with Commons Atribution-ShareAlike (CC-BY-SA) 3.0 license and now the organizations can move their content from GFDL to CC-BY-SA. The special request of Wikimedia Foundation is now fulfilled and likely Wikipedia project will start discussions now to change the license from Creative Commons Share Alike to GFDL 1.3.
